FAQ

The most commonly asked questions about banking with First Capital Savings and Loan.

What is encryption?

Encryption technology ensures that another party cannot access your confidential account information. Encryption is a way to rewrite something in a code, which can be decoded later with the right "key."

When you request information about your accounts, the information is sent across the Internet in an encrypted format. When the information reaches you, it is decoded so that you and you alone can read it.

Most internet browsers will display a small padlock icon at the bottom or top of the browser window to indicate that your data has been encrypted for transmission.
